Maibaum Tradition

Leider kann das beliebte Maifest der Lunzer Landjugend aufgrund der Corona-Situation nicht stattfinden und somit ziert auch kein traditioneller Maibaum das Ortszentrum. Dieses Jahr erinnern einige Familien an diesen Brauch und haben in ihren Gärten Maibäume aufgestellt. Die Kinder schmückten den Kranz mit bunten Bändern und die Väter stellten den Baum mit Muskelkraft auf – teilweise sind die Maibäume so groß, dass ein Traktor benötigt wurde. 

Ich freue mich über diese Aktion und danke allen Familien, die mit ihren Maibäumen in gewisser Weise ein Hoffnungszeichen setzen –  ab 1. Mai sind soziale Kontakte wieder möglich! Somit wünsche ich euch ein freudiges erstes Maiwochenende!
